On April 4, 2000, the lives of Ann and Mike of Austin, Texas were changed forever. They received a very special gift, a new little baby girl.

Ann and Mike had chosen the name Bethany Richardson for their new little bundle of joy.

Page 5

Page 7
It seemed to Ann that Bethany would never be born, but she finally arrived at Brackenridge Hospital at exactly 3:23 a.m.

Ann was filled with joy when she heard Dr. Wiseman say, "Congratulations, you have a beautiful baby girl."

Page 8
Wrapped snugly in a soft, warm blanket, Bethany was handed to Ann, who held her new little miracle for the first time. She thought Bethany was the most beautiful baby she had ever seen and that she was so small and cuddly.

Page 10

Page 11
Bethany's birth was a brand new beginning for her mommy and daddy. Bethany will get all the love and care she needs from her new family, and she will bring lots of joy and happiness to their lives.

Page 12
As soon as Bethany was born, she was placed on the scales....

Her weight was
8 pounds, 2 ounces,
and she was
19 1/2 inches long.

Page 15
Friends and family were anxiously awaiting Bethany's birth. When they heard the good news, they showered her with lots of gifts. Some were clothes, some were blankets to keep her nice and warm, some were bottles, and oh, some were diapers, of course.

Page 16
All the nurses thought Bethany was the cutest little girl, and they enjoyed taking care of her. Even the doctors were amazed at this new little arrival into the world.

Page 19
After Bethany came home from the hospital, she soon settled into daily routines.
Ann was very excited to give Bethany her first bath. Afterwards, she gently covered her with powder and dressed her in tiny, warm baby clothes.

Page 20
Ann thought about all the babies who are born all around the world and realized how all parents must feel... that their baby is the most beautiful of all. And, they are right.

Page 22

Page 23
Many people came to visit Bethany. Grandma and Grandpa had been eagerly waiting for Bethany to be born. When they saw her, they thought Bethany was the most precious little person and that her skin was so soft and smooth.

Page 24
Every day, Ann and Mike think of how blessed they are that Bethany has become a part of their lives and how full their lives will be in the years ahead. There will be laughter and joy, boo-boos and tears, and really big hugs to chase away the fears.

Page 27
Mommy and Daddy are looking forward to Bethany's first smile, the first time she crawls, her first steps, the first time she feeds herself, and even that all important potty training time.

Page 28
Often, on bright sunny days, Mommy sits outside and just holds and cuddles Bethany. She enjoys rocking her and singing to her. As she looks at Bethany, her heart is full of love for this special little gift she has received.

Page 30

Page 31
Daddy enjoys helping Mommy take care of Bethany. Sometimes he reads to her, sometimes he feeds her, and sometimes he even helps give Bethany her bath. These are very special times for Daddy and Bethany.

Page 32
While Ann and Mike were waiting for Bethany to be born, they prepared a room especially for her. They placed a cozy, warm bed for Bethany to sleep in and a big rocking chair so that they can hold and rock her, or just sit and look at her.

Page 35
Sometimes, Mommy and Daddy take Bethany for long walks, and Bethany just smiles and coos and makes cute little faces all along the way. As they walk, Mommy and Daddy talk about all the plans they have for Bethany's future and all the exciting things they will do together as a family. Making memories that will last forever....

On November 26, 2001, the lives of Ann and Mike of Austin, Texas were changed forever. They received a very special gift...a little new baby boy.

Ann and Mike had chosen the name Zachary Richardson for their little new bundle of joy and decided to call him Zach.

It seemed to Ann that Zach might never be born. Yet he finally arrived even earlier than anticipated, at Brackenridge Hospital at exactly 4:48 p.m.

Ann was filled with joy when she heard Dr. Wiseman say, "Congratulations, you have a handsome little boy."

Wrapped snugly in a soft, warm blanket, Zach was handed to Ann, who held her little miracle for the first time. She thought that Zach was such a beautiful baby and that he was so cuddly and small.

Zach's birth was a brand new beginning for his mommy and daddy. Zach will get all of the love and care he needs from his new family, and he will bring lots of joy and happiness to their lives.

As soon as Zach was born, he was placed on the scales.

His weight was
6 pounds 7 ounces,
and he was
17 1/2 inches long.

Friends and family were anxiously awaiting Zach's birth. When they heard that he had surprised his mommy and daddy and arrived sooner than planned, they showered him with many gifts. Some were clothes, some were blankets to keep him nice and warm, some were bottles, and some were diapers, of course.

All of the nurses thought that Zach was the cutest little boy they had ever seen, and they enjoyed taking care of him. Even the doctors were amazed at this little new arrival into the world.

After Zach came home from the hospital, he soon settled into his daily routines.
Ann was very excited to give Zach his first bath. Afterwards, she gently covered him with powder, and dressed him in tiny, warm baby clothes.

Ann thought about all of the babies who are born all around the world and realized how all parents must feel...that their baby is the most beautiful of all. And they are right.

Many people came to visit Zach. Grandma and Grandpa Smith, Uncle Mark and Aunt Sally had been eagerly waiting for Zach to come to live with Ann and Mike. When they saw Zach, they thought he was the most precious little person ever, and that his skin was very soft and smooth.

Every day, Ann and Mike think of how blessed they are that Zach has become a part of their lives, and how full their lives will be in the years ahead. There will be laughter and joy, boo-boos and tears, and really big hugs to chase away the fears.

Mommy and Daddy are looking forward to Zach's first smile, the first time he crawls, his first steps, the first time he feeds himself, and even that all-important potty training time.

Often, on bright sunny days, Mommy sits outside and holds and cuddles Zach. She enjoys rocking him and singing to him. As she looks at Zach, her heart is full of love for this special little gift she has received.

Page 31
Daddy enjoys helping Mommy take care of Zach. Sometimes he reads to him, sometimes he feeds him, and sometimes he even helps give Zach his bath. These are very special times for Daddy and Zach.

Page 32
While Ann and Mike were waiting for Zach to be born, they prepared a room especially for him. In this room, they placed a cozy, warm bed for Zach to sleep in. They also placed a big rocking chair there so they can hold and rock him, or just sit and look at him

Sometimes, Mommy and Daddy take Zach for long walks. Zach just smiles, coos, and makes cute little faces all along the way. As they walk, Mommy and Daddy talk about all of the plans they have for Zach's future and all of the exciting things they will do together as a family. They will make memories that will last forever.
